Meridian is one hard bitch to handle. Well, she is not quite a bitch. It just depends on her day. With her schizophrenia, it's easy to tell that she has lost her fucking mind. Honestly, she mutters to herself in Romania, she constantly sees shit that is not there and the animals talking to her? They say the dirtiest shit ever to her. So, she gets a little tense. She withdraws from society more than the normal person and tends to be a bit more paranoid. That is Meridian off medication though. She has an entirely different personality off medication, where she is violent and paranoid and ready to jump to conclusions. Sometimes it switches to some girl who's sweet and kind, but that doesn't last.
On medication, Meridian tends to be a pretty cool person. Although, she still has nervous habits as in twirling her hair, or talking to herself. She is pretty good to talk to when she is paying attention. On her medication, you will find her ready to work and ready to concentration, she doesn't withdraw from society as much and she doesn't snap, although it's easy to provoke her since her fuse has always been extremely short. She has a habit of being a sweetheart to people that she is closest with and tends attach herself to them since she does not communicate with her family anymore. Inside, she is falling apart, she is a fragile person who may seem like she doesn't give a shit about anything, she does.
Meridian on drugs are an entirely different story. She is extremely dulled out. Her personality is like card board. Tasteless and quiet. Cocaine, the specific drug she is using, keeps out the voices to her at least and it seems to work for her at least. Maybe she just believes it, but Meridian functions better on drugs or her medication, which is why she has not stopped with the drugs at all, they help, to her and to her band mates that have seen changes in her. Now to keep on tour, she uses all the time and it seems to keep her calm.

It all started in Bucharest, Romania on September twenty-four years ago. That was when Meridian was born. Her parents, Luminita and Constantin had lost their first born, Meridian a year before. Because they were so stuck on their daughter's death, she was diagnosed with cancer. They named their baby girl Meridian. She was cute, one of those perfect kids with bright blue eyes. Hell, Lumi and Constantin loved her, hoping that she would not die like her older sister. She was healthy though and continued to be healthy. That's when they tried again for another son but that is when Daria was introduced to the family, thus giving two year old Meridian a younger sibling. Working as a sound techinican for a local club, Constantin depended on his wife's income as a vetenarian to keep the family going. They lived in a decent house on the nice side of town, thanks to Lumi's father who was a famous plastic surgeon. It was not all flowers and unicorns though.
At 15 Meridian started showing signs of well personality problems. Especially when she claimed that ll shorts of animals were talking to her and shadows could touch her. Her mother and father took their daughter to a mental hospital for assessment. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Meridian was already having serious hallucinations by the time they admitted her into the mental hospital, where she went through therapy and all sorts of medications to keep her in check. She rarely had a dull moment, considering her personality switched from sweet to a downright nightmare. That is when the voices started in her head, telling her to get out, to live her life, she listened and eventually they deemed her to be fit for the world and let her out. At times when she was at home, she was caught talking to herself and causing trouble at school, acting up.
Her parents decided to move to America, to seek other treatments for their crazy daughter. Off to Las Vegas they went when she turned 17 After arriving in America, they sent her to a therapist who taught her music therapy. For some odd reason, she had figured to get out all her anger on drums, which is what just happened, she picked up the instrument quickly and soon wanted to start a band, dragging her sister, Daria on vocals. She recruited her boyfriend and best guy friend on guitar and bass. I, Machine was born and they started touring. At 18 she got married to her boyfriend, both of them changed completely with the fame to their heads and Meridian's schizophrenia only got worse as she stopped taking medications, she started abusing alcohol, drinking all the time and he started snorting cocaine. The two started fighting all the time, abusing one another, usually Meridian would just lose it and attack him and other days he would just lose it and attack her. Soon, their marriage ended and she was taken to the asylum near Hope, Arizona. She was let out on good behavior but still slips up every now and again, she tries to control herself. But it seems to be failing.

Meridian took a few minutes out of her mental shopping list to think of how stupid she was to come down here without a car. "Shit.' She muttered as she patted the keys in her pocket. Oh well, there was nothing she could do about it now. The phone vibrated in her back pocket and she took it out, receiving a text from her brother requesting oreos. She rolled her eyes and kept walking, the boots making a clip clop sound against the sidewalk. She bit down on her lower lip and she kept her head down for a good portion of the time. She didn't even bother to check out her surroundings, leave it to Meridian to put herself in a dangerous situation. Fuck, she was screwed she was probably going to die or something along those lines and they will never find her body or whatever. Leon would probably be admitted into some mental hospital after he found out and everything would go to crap. The brunette always thought of the worst situations, her pessimism was something to thank for that. She looked at situations with complete negativism. Maybe that was why she was completely bitter about life. Well, she had enough to be bitter about.
The feeling of just wanting to run came over her. She wanted to get out of her clothes and find a nice forest to run in. Being a animal would help her more, she liked giving into the animal instincts it was...refreshing to her, to give into something that wasn't human at all, even if it didn't seem normal to others it seemed perfectly normal to Meridian, who grew up with it. Even if it made her father and mother abandon Leon and herself, she was still somewhat okay with being a shifter.
Looking up from her walking she caught eyes with another person, green ones. Meridian looked away, never doing so well with eye contact. She didn't want to talk to anyone, which was probably why she moved a little fast, but not so much. She didn't want to initiate a chase. The male came up to her and Meridian kept her pace. He spoke and she looked up, the cute smile was not going to get her anywhere as she adverted her eyes to straight in front of her. "A food store." Her irish brogue making it clear she wasn't to mess with.
Meridian felt her hand slip to her pocket to call Leon, tell him to get over here with one of the cars. "Why is a man like you wandering these dangerous streets at night?" She asked him, stopping for a moment to look at him. She could shift, she could shift and run and they wouldn't know what the hell happened to her. She could change into anything, but at times like these she would probably just turn straight into the only form she could feel like she could defend herself in. She took a step away from him, not liking that they were a bit close. Meridian's guard was up a hundred percent and she wasn't going to let it down.
